The Interdisciplinary Medical Science (IMS) Student Ambassador program was started in Spring 2020 to serve as a peer to peer resource for the lower level Interdisciplinary Medical Science (IMS) students. An IMS Ambassador is a student that has either successfully completed one of the IMS majors or is currently an upperclassman in one of the IMS majors. Ambassadors are students who exemplify success in the IMS Degree Program. Lower level students can meet with an Ambassador to discuss everything related to the IMS student experience. Ambassadors can share their experiences with the IMS majors, degree, courses, and seminars. Additionally, they can provide underclassman helpful insight on course experiences, seminar content, academic success, and community engagement. The Ambassadors are here to serve as a complimentary resource to Academic, Experiential Learning, and Pre-Health advising; they are not a replacement for official advising in these areas. The Ambassadors are a resource for current IMS students ONLY.
